Pediatric and Adolescent Migraines (Ages 6 - 17)

It's estimated that nearly 28% of adolescents will experience migraines. As a result, migraines are consistently ranked as one of the top five health issues affecting children.

A local research study may help children and adolescents struggling with migraine symptoms by evaluating an investigational medication.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between the ages of 6 - 17 years old
• Have a history of experiencing migraines for at least 6 months
• Have inadequate response to previous migraine therapy
• Additional criteria may apply

Qualified Participants May:

• Have access to medical staff
• Receive trial medication

No insurance is required, and reasonable reimbursement is available for travel to those who qualify and participate.

Estudio de Migraña – Niños/as de 6-17 años

Se estima que un 28% de adolescentes sufren de migrañas. Por esta razón las migrañas son 1 de los 5 problemas de salud que afectan a los niños/as hoy en día. Si tu hijo sufre con síntomas de migrañas, puede ser eligible para participar en un estudio de investigación clínica con un medicamento para la migraña.

Para calificar debe tener los siguientes requerimientos:

• Tener de 6 a 17 años
• Con historial médico de migraña por seis meses
• Haber experimentado de 2 a 8 migrañas con duración de más de 3 horas en los últimos 60 días
• No tener una respuesta adecuada a su tratamiento previo de migraña o jaqueca
• Puedo aplicarse criterios adicionales

Se proveerá reembolso adecuado por viaje aquellos participantes que califican y participan en este estudio. No necesita seguro médico para participar.
